TRAVEL...GET AWAY? OSLOB ESCAPADE #PART1

I promised to share some of my travel escapade right...which i think..this one is for the record...

Mostly, most of us get excited and giddy planning for our travel escapade..and mostly we prefer to travel outside the city or from the province...i mean WE HAVE TO GIVE JUSTICE to the word TRAVEL and GETAWAY...

TRAVEL and GETAWAY... for me this doesn't only mean just travelling outside your place or city and travel miles away from province to province (though that really sounds GOOD and COOL)... for us to see nature...great waves...native folks in town...beach...white sand...and native delicacies... Just last April, me and my friends got a chance to be away from our stressful work and got a chance to have a break from processes ...away from traffic and pollution...got a chance to experience nature in its TRUE and GENUINE FINENESS...and real BLISS cause you'll get to see how locals in town manage to stay simple despite the blossoming tourism...and was able to maintain nature...

Had a lot of Fun for a day...Just watching the waterfalls itself was very relaxing...

From where we'd stayed...the Butanding Whale watching and the Tumalog Waterfalls are just few minutes away...i think that was just approximately 15 minutes per way or less..(if i'm not mistaken)

Are you looking for serene and pristine scenic view from nature? why travel lengthy miles when you can explore Cebu's finest within its province...

HOW TO GET THERE?????

HOW TO GET THERE :

• From the heart of Cebu...you have to take a bus from CEBU city to OSLOB (southern part of CEBU) mostly travelers take CERES BUS to get there...you have to take the CERES BUS -via- BATO / DUMAGUETE bound to travel OSLOB...its either you take the ECONOMY bus or the AIR-CONDITIONED one...

• The fare is very affordable...it will cost you between P 170.00-P 200.00

WHAT TO DO THERE?

We planned to go first to the Tumalog Waterfalls...so we take a local motorcyle which we call "HABAL-HABAL" in local dialict...just a few minutes away from the pink house where we stayed at during that trip.

when you arrive location...you have to walk for a few minutes downhill to get to where the waterfalls exactly..

THEN YOU CAN ENJOY THE VIEW...and DIVE into THE WATERFALLS...yeah baby!

there are spots within the area where you can get a table and chairs for your groups...when we we're there...we saw a lot of foreign families taking a break and was enjoying the falls...there's also this local BALSA / a bamboo water raft...haha we didnt realize we have to pay for it for P100.00/hour

◘OTHER TIPS ◘

For me personally, it will be better to travel dawn or early morning...cause you'll get to savor and enjoy the view even just your seating inside the bus...travelling to southern part of Cebu is heaven...I mean,I'm not exaggerating everything here :) i just personally love to travel outside the city...southern part of Cebu is a living proof of simple living but in a classy way...municipalities are not secluded, in fact tourism are incredible...nah...what i like most when travelling is the FRESH AIR breezing in your face...
